Moonlight Peaks Potion Brewing Guide

Brewing is the signature craft of Moonlight Peaks — the thing that makes a vampire’s farm more than a farm. You learn it from the town’s witches, then experiment with ingredients to brew potions that smooth out the daily grind. This guide explains the loop and how to plan it.

Pre-launch note: exact recipes and mana costs are not public before the July 7, 2026 launch. We don’t publish guessed recipes. Below is the mechanic as shown in official material and hands-on previews; the Potion Brewing Calculator activates with verified data at launch.

The brewing loop

  1. Gather ingredients. Some are foraged in the wild, some are grown on your farm, some are caught. Magical plants like mandrake and wolfsbane and cursed crops like nightshade all feed into brewing. See the Ingredients database.
  2. Learn recipes from the witches. Brewing knowledge is taught in-town — you don’t start knowing everything.
  3. Spend mana to brew. Potions cost mana, the same resource that powers your spells. Managing mana between spellcasting and brewing is part of the strategy.
  4. Use the effect. Confirmed effects so far include a full night of unlimited energy and a temporary boost to how many crops you gather.

Why a calculator helps

Once recipes are known, the interesting questions are combinatorial: which ingredients make which potion, and whether you have the mana to brew it right now. That’s exactly what the Potion Brewing Calculator answers — pick ingredients, see the matched potion and its mana cost, and check it against your available mana.

Ingredients we can confirm so far

Magical herbs such as Googly Garlic and Glow Ginger have been described as brewing materials, alongside cursed crops like Nightshade and magical plants like Mandrake. The full ingredient-to-potion mapping is launch data — we’ll cross-check it against multiple sources before publishing recipes.
